I had started my own Shaklee business in 1995 and for 5 years enjoyed it immensely. Life changes occurred and I took a 7 year sabbatical traveling, raising my children, re-finding myself, and marrying a wonderful man. Never once did I ever stop using or believing in the Shaklee products.
In Dec of 07 I called my Shaklee sponsor and asked if she could help me get back on track with my Shaklee business. That was my true passion. So we kicked open the Shaklee doors, dusted off the old Shaklee stuff, learned what was going on now (Gold Ambassador Program), Hawaii was the incentive trip and how to achieve what I needed. I found that Shaklee was offering 4 ways to earn money and the Gold Ambassador Program was the way to achieve success quickly. Well when I heard the incentive trip was Hawaii I remembered a promise I made to my youngest daughter years ago.
That promise was when Shaklee was offering a trip to Hawaii Mom would work to achieve it and take her with me. She was about 7 then. Who would have known the year I decided to get back to work the trip would be to that destination.
My sponsor which is also my business leader showed me how easy it was to achieve 300 points for Hawaii and to keep tabs on these points to show what we needed to focus on to get there. Low and behold we both got there together. It was so exciting when Shaklee emailed me giving me the news, You have earned the Paradise 2008 trip for two to Hawaii! Pick the airport you want to fly from, what seats do you prefer, what meals and we will set it all up. And By the way, we will have an additional $200 waiting for you once you arrive on the island. In a few days you will receive a call from our trip coordinator for more details. So a few weeks later. We received in the mail a message in a bottle from Shaklee. Yes, a real message in a bottle. The message reminded us we were going to Hawaii, (Who could forget?) the Hotel we were staying at, some trinkets, and a big congrats to us. I was so extremely happy! Scott was impressed and so ready! We called everyone!
My daughter being so responsible at the age of 18 now was not going to make it. She felt her new job would be at risk if she took the time off so soon after being hired.. I even told her to Quit...it's a Job, there a dime a dozen. She wanted to impress upon the company she was committed.
Yes, I even tried guilt and threats but she would not give in. I also realized, she not earning the trip, may not have seen the gift this really is. I left it at that. She will have to earn her own trip to appreciate it.
I would have never been able to afford this trip for myself. My husband and I really needed that time away. Shaklee gave it to us, like it was no skin off there back. They paid for just about everything. Even the tips were paid for. I even got to be interviewed and ended up on the latest Action DVD.
Shaklee didn't have to do that, but they did!
We swam with sea turtles, moray eels, many tropical fish, took boat rides, sailed, did night time snorkeling with manta rays, sight seeing, hiking, ate wonderful meals, had nightly entertainment and a recognition dinner to congratulate and salute us for our accomplishments. A trip of a life time. Thank you Shaklee!
From here I have been able to achieve goals and see them become accomplished in helping others do the same. This is such a selfless, feel good business. I know why I loved it so much then and why it fits me so well now. I know this business works. I have seen it happen too many times first hand.
It has worked for me and shown me over the years this IS the only way I will achieve my income needs and dreams by helping you to achieve yours.
